Andrew Hardings Beach
Andrew Harding’s Lane Beach is a neighborhood beach where swimming is not allowed due to the strong undertow. Gaining access can be challenging see; “Parking” below. The grade to the water is gradual with wave-size varying. Seaweed and shells have accumulated from past high-tides; at the water’s edge pebbles and shells have accumulated.

ParkingParking is available on Bridge Street (Lighthouse Beach would be a shorter walk once parked) and requires parking passes between July 1st and Labor Day, 9am to 5pm (read posted signs). Lighthouse park and shuttle is available on Main Street.
Non-residents or visitors may purchase a non-resident pass at another beach or at the Harbormaster’s Office (613 Stage Harbor Road, 8:30am to 5:30pm daily). $20 daily; $75 weekly; or $175 seasonal Resident beach stickers can be purchased at the Sticker (permit) Office: 261 George Ryder Road, rear of building, lower level $25 first sticker, $20 second sticker |
