Bayley Beach is a sandy/pebbly beach owned and maintained by the 6th Taxing District for use by its residents. The coarse beach sand is mixed with crushed shells, with a concentration of the shells at the water’s edge. The grade to the water is gradual and the waves are almost non-existent due to the Long Island Sound. This beach offers many amenities and is extremely family friendly. The Rowayton Civic Association offers many events throughout the year in addition to traditional beach activities.
