Burying Hill Beach is a small, quiet, and rocky beach on 2.39 acres adjacent to a wildlife area along a canal that borders the park. There is a gentle current with a jetty that fronts Long Island Sound. Fishing and crabbing are allowed. The beach area is covered with small rocks and pebbles that become denser near the water’s edge. Waves are minimal due to the Long Island Sound and the slope, on the beach to the water is gradual.
