Coast Guard Beach, not to be confused with Coast Guard Beach at Eastham, has limited parking, which makes is a quieter beach. Entry to the beach requires a short walk down a hill; the beach slope to the water is gradual. The sand has a light mix of shells and dried seaweed from high-tides and near the water’s edge there’s a sight accumulation of fresh seaweed. Coast Guard Beach is perfect for avoiding large crowds.
