Harding’s Beach is a mid-sized beach with separated parking lots. There is a trail system through dunes that leads to the Stage Harbor Lighthouse.  A popular beach with all ages, it is known for some sharp drop-offs in the water. The grade to the water is gradual with wave size varying from small to mid-sized, with warmer water for the New England area. Seaweed can be abundant; seaweed and shells leave a reminder of past high-tides; at the water’s edge pebbles and shells accumulate.
