Harveys Beach
Harvey’s Beach is a small family-oriented beach with the ideal water situation for kids since the water is below knee level for several hundred feet during low-tide. In addition to being family friendly, the beach has convenient amenities, adding to its appeal. Beach sand has minimal shells and pebbles mixed in before the water’s edge where there is a large congestion of pebbles; beyond the pebbles the sand is mostly debris-free and soft. The grade to the water is minimal with small waves or non-existent waves due to the Long Island Sound.
