Head of the Meadow Beach has two entry points, a Town of Truro entry and National Park Service entry. Each will require a parking fee. (See the parking information below for details) Entry to the beaches requires a walk down dunes (may be challenging for children or elderly) where the slope to the water is gradual. The sand has a light mix of shells and dried seaweed from high-tides and near the water’s edge there’s a sight accumulation of fresh seaweed and shells. Dune sections are roped off for piping plovers and other ocean birds. Both beach areas have dunes separating the beach area from parking.
