Laudholm Beach is located off Route 1 in Wells Maine and is part of The Wells Reserve. After a brief scenic hike you’ll gain access to Laudholm Beach. Part of the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve, the reserve abuts The Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, leaving the beach wide open with no businesses, very few houses and fast flowing Little River. From walkers, joggers, and people doing yoga, Laudholm Beach and Little River seems to have a calming effect on people that are lucky enough to have found it.
