Morse Beach is a mid-sized beach that ends the stretch of the West Haven beaches. Large amounts of sand are accompanied by bands of seaweed, crushed shells, and occasional pebbles. The descent to the beach is gradual, and the waves are small due to Long Island Sound.

Parking

Daily parking fees for non-residents Memorial Day to Labor Day, $10 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and $5 after 4. Parts of the site are wheelchair accessible.

Life Guard

Lifeguards are on duty weekends only through June 22, daily from June 23–August 17, and weekends only from August 23–September 1. Daily supervision is from 10:15 a.m.–3 p.m.
