North Beach is located along Route 1A on Ocean Boulevard in Hampton, New Hampshire. With ample parking along a large concrete wall, there are numerous entry points, making access to the beach only steps away. The one downside to North Beach is the bathhouse (open year round) which is located towards the northern end of the beach; it's a long walk if situated at the opposite end. Families may want to plan parking near the bathhouse and Bicentennial Park where the beach is somewhat more crowded, but it has a small area with grass and volleyball set up. The beach is wide with a gradual slope into the water, and the sand is soft ample along the seawall. The area is relatively debris-free (seaweed) with the exception of rocky areas. If you’re looking to avoid the larger crowds of the southern Hampton beaches, Hampton North Beach is a great alternative.
