Oak Street Beach is bordered by Savin Rock Trail and parallel to Long Island Sound. This stretch of beach is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. Entry to the water is easy to navigate with the small waves and mild slope. Sand has broken shells, pebbles, and light bands of sea weed. A pier and Old Grove Park provide convenient alternatives to the beach, an option of fishing or escaping the sun in the shade of the trees.
