Old Orchard Beach
Old Orchard Beach, located off Route 9 in Old Orchard, Maine. With miles a white sandy beach, Old Orchard Beach offers something for everyone. With entry points at the end of every street, this vast beach offers views of its famous “pier” from both northern and southern points. The most northern and southern points of the beach are areas that provide the beauty of the beach without the crowds. For more activity head toward the “pier”, where there are too many people to count and people watching is at its best. A “Canadian Mecca”, Old Orchard Beach has such a large draw from Canada that many signs are in English and French. Shopping, sports bars, coffee shops, restaurants, arcades, a beach front Palace Playland (Amusement Park rides), park, professional fireworks display during summer months every Thursday and hours upon hours of entertainment are all available in one location, Old Orchard Beach.
