Pear Tree Point Beach is an 8-acre beach with two sandy beaches, picnic tables and grills within a group of trees, a bathhouse with outdoor shower, a concession stand, and a gazebo. There is a boat launch, fishing, and a beach rock jetty that fronts Long Island Sound. The beach sand has a light mix of pebbles and crushed shells. Waves are almost non-existent with the exception of the small boat wakes; the slope to the water is gradual.
