Pine Point Beach (Hurd Park) is located just off Route 9 in Scarborough, Maine. Just north of the large chaotic Old Orchard Beach, Pine Point Beach is medium-sized and is more peaceful than its neighbor. Arrive early to park in the municipal parking lot and the beach is only a short walk. All the amenities are close and there is plenty of real estate for a more peaceful beach experience. The grade to the beach is gradual with small amounts of rocks and seaweed in the sand.
