Plum Cove Beach is located on Route 127 Washington Street in Gloucester, Massachusetts. One of the smaller beaches in Gloucester, Plum Cove Beach is a residential beach and does require a current Gloucester beach sticker. The beach is enclosed by large rocks and cliffs with a moderately large area of coarse sand for a small beach. The walk to the water is gradual with calm water; this is a great environment for kids to explore especially with the space being enclosed which makes it easy to watch kids. Residents of Gloucester looking to avoid the crowds of the larger beaches have a great option at Plum Cove Beach.
