Salisbury Beach State Reservation is located on State Reservation Road in Salisbury, Massachusetts. This diverse beach area offers a variety of beach areas and other activities. The reservation has three large parking lots each with a bathhouse, showers for rinsing, and picnic tables. Expect to do a fair amount of walking due to the sheer size of the reservation; park at the most southern lot to have the shortest route to the beach. The beach is narrow with a moderate slope to the water, and the sand has a layer of seaweed depending on the time of year. The waves are often on the large side and the undertow can be difficult for younger children and older adults.
