South Pine Creek Beach is the smallest of the Fairfield beaches. The beach offers minimal amenities; as a result it’s less crowded than other local beaches. Sand has crushed shells and pebbles mixed throughout until the water’s edge where there is a thin band of shells and seaweed left over from high-tide. The slope to the water is gradual, and the waves are small due to Long Island Sound.
