Town Beach is a small beach for the residents and renters of Old Saybrook. Beach sand has minimal shells and pebbles mixed in until the water’s edge where there is a large congestion of pebbles; there’s a posting recommending that children wear water shoes. The grade to the water is minimal with small waves or non-existent waves due to Long Island Sound.
