Westerly Town Beach is a popular town beach for the residents of Westerly although it can be accessed by non-residents. A non-resident can access the beach by renting a property and using the pass the owner provides. Another option is to go to neighboring Wuskenau Beach (which does not require a town permit to park although it will accept it). Both beaches will have soft sand with minimal debris, easy entry to the water, and large waves. The pavilion at Westerly Town Beach sells foods, has picnic tables, restrooms, and showers.
