Wollaston Beach
Wollaston Beach is located off Quincy Shore Drive in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 2.3 miles of gradual sloped beach offers various terrains from the rocky southern portion to the sandy middle and northern parts of the beach. Connected to Caddy Memorial Park and Moswetuset Hummock, each area offers diverse activities from basking in the sun during the summer months to walking the different trails located at both ends of the beach. The calm waters at Wollaston Beach have been “red-flagged” in the past due to poor water quality and, as a result, many people refrain from swimming. However, conditions have improved over the years, and more people are entering the water and fishing. Running, dog-walking, and sun bathing are activities enjoyed; however, the most impressive part of the beach are the views. From the scenic city and bay views to the diverse people walking about, there is plenty to take in while enjoying the beach.
